About Lola

Native French speaker with international academic background, fluent in English since childhood. Honoured in literature and oral expression, and experienced tutoring children and teens, I offer personalised one-hour lessons that adapt to each learner’s rhythm, ensuring confidence and steady progress.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is interactive and personalised. I focus on combining structured grammar and vocabulary practice with real-life conversation, so students quickly gain confidence using French in everyday situations. I adapt my methodology to each learner’s needs, using a mix of exercises, role-playing, listening activities, and cultural insights to make learning both effective and engaging. Lessons typically last one hour, allowing enough time to cover new material, practise it through guided exercises, and end with conversation or review. Longer sessions (90 minutes) are also possible for students who want more intensive practice. I am a native French speaker with strong experience in academic and international settings. My background in political science and participation in multilingual projects has given me excellent communication and teaching skills, as well as an ability to explain French in a way that is clear and accessible to English speakers. My lessons are open to students of all ages and levels from complete beginners who want to learn French basics, to intermediate learners aiming to improve their fluency, and advanced students looking for conversation practice or professional/academic French.
