About Tessa

I earned a Master’s Degree in French Cultural Studies after developing a strong interest in language, communication, and international culture during my academic journey. During the past 12 years, I have taught students from many different backgrounds and learning levels, helping them improve their French skills through practical and supportive instruction. Teaching French allows me to combine my passion for education with meaningful cultural connection. I enjoy helping learners become more confident expressing themselves in a new language.

My teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and communication-based learning. Some students prefer detailed grammar explanations and structured exercises, while others improve more naturally through discussions and interactive activities. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s personality, confidence level, and learning goals. Along with technical language development, I help students strengthen pronunciation, listening ability, vocabulary retention, and conversational fluency. Creating a calm and welcoming learning atmosphere remains very important to me.

Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, exploring cultural media, and continuing my own language learning through films, music, and travel-related resources. These experiences help me bring practical examples and fresh ideas into lessons regularly. I believe language learning creates opportunities for communication, confidence, and personal growth around the world. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students communicate comfortably in situations that once felt unfamiliar or intimidating.

About the lesson

My French lessons focus on helping students communicate clearly and comfortably through organized and engaging learning methods. I teach pronunciation, grammar structure, listening comprehension, vocabulary development, and sentence building using practical explanations that feel simple and approachable for learners at every level. Lessons also include conversation activities, storytelling exercises, audio practice, roleplays, and cultural discussions that help students understand how French is used naturally in everyday life. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate actively and improve steadily without fear of mistakes. Every lesson supports confidence, fluency, and practical communication growth.

Beginners receive patient guidance with greetings, pronunciation patterns, common expressions, and basic sentence construction through repetition and interactive practice. Intermediate learners improve conversational flow, listening accuracy, speaking confidence, and response timing through structured communication activities and guided discussions. Advanced students focus on smoother fluency, detailed expression, and more natural conversation skills through practical speaking exercises and cultural topics. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, goals, and comfort level so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.

Learning French should feel enjoyable, useful, and rewarding. I encourage students to practice naturally during lessons instead of relying only on memorization techniques. Many learners become more expressive and confident as they continue speaking French regularly in supportive conversations. My goal is to help students develop strong language foundations while also enjoying the culture and experiences connected to French-speaking communities. Every lesson supports confidence, curiosity, and long-term language success.
