About Peyton

About the lesson

I’m a French tutor with over 7 years of experience and a BA in French for Tourism and Hospitality. I specialize in helping high school and university students who find French film analysis and dialogue writing challenging. My approach is creative and tailored — I break down complex cinematic language into simple, digestible steps that anyone can follow.

I love sharing my passion for French New Wave, contemporary cinema, and critical theory to make lessons engaging and relevant. Together, we explore films not just as stories but as rich texts full of meaning and style. I guide students to write with clarity and expression, transforming their ideas into well-crafted dialogue and thoughtful analysis.

My goal is to build confidence in tackling film assignments while deepening students’ appreciation for French cinema.
