About Antoine

Fresh from achieving high grades (A*A*A*A) in maths, further maths, biology and physics A-levels, I believe I have a gift for making these challenging subjects more comprehensible and enjoyable for any student.

I also know from recent experience exactly what is required to get the highest grades!

All through school I have tutored younger children from the ages of 12 to 17, often running group lessons to help GCSE maths students at my school, and tutoring first and second year A-level students. I get the most satisfaction from seeing students go from struggling to confident, while inspiring in them an appreciation of just how beautiful mathematics can be.

About the lesson

I believe that making learning fun is the key to success!

I do so by tailoring each lesson to the student's needs, ensuring all the content is thoroughly understood while helping students find the awe and wonder which I believe this subject naturally brings.

During my own A-level studies I gained the experience and knowledge of techniques invaluable for achieving top scores in the exams. On top of this, I delved into many off-book explorations from which I have built a collection of fascinating proofs, theories, and applications of the maths covered in the GCSE and A-level courses, which will deepen both understanding and enjoyment of the syllabus.

I usually use Google classrooms for online lessons, which allows us to collaborate on a shared whiteboard, meaning that online lessons are very similar to face-to-face :)
