About Matthew

I have spent 6 years working as a Quality Assurance Expert for a market leader in process control. Earlier this year, I decided to take a step away from the long hours and high pressure meetings to pursue my passion for teaching. I enjoy helping people who haven't always loved maths to see themselves improve and start to see the fun and excitement that can come from mathematics. I've spent 6 years in the professional world, meaning that I have excellent time-keeping, I am reliable, and have experience working with a huge range of people. I also recently spent time travelling in South America, which not only gave me further experience interacting with people from all over the world, but inspired me to pursue a career that I feel truly excited about.

About the lesson

My individual GCSE maths lessons are usually 50 minutes long, where we will usually work through homework/worksheets to isolate any issues you are having. I am also happy with requests to focus on individual subjects or issues. I usually use my screen to do the work, freeing up you to take notes and pictures, and giving you more time to think about the problem without worrying about presenting. My teaching can be easily tailored for the needs of each individual. I have previously tutored GCSE, A-Level and University students.
