About Elizabeth
My name is Elizabeth and I enjoy teaching others how to quilt and crochet. Learning quilting, crochet, embroidery etc helped to save me. You see, because of my medical conditions I was hospitalised a few years ago and I had residual brain damage from the lack of oxygen. In order to build new pathways in my brain, I had to learn new skills. I started with crochet, then quilting and embroidery. The creation of these new pathways has allowed me to regain most of my previous brain function. I absolutely love to quilt, stitch and crochet and I really enjoy being able to share that joy with others. I have been teaching professionally for the past 2 years and have designed a block of the month quilt pattern for a global online community

I teach on Zoom with recorded sessions so that you can have a copy to re-watch whenever you need to, I find it so much better than just a handout as remembering what you did 6 months on is hard. Lesson lengths vary as learning the basics of appliqué is a lot quicker than making a full quilt! If there is a particular technique that you'd like to learn or a project that you'd like to complete, I am always happy to design a custom lesson.

Perfect! It was a great lesson, relaxed and fun, and it was interesting to explore different quilting techniques.
Perfect! I am a complete beginner and found that Elizabeth's knowledge and easy-going manner gave me the confidence I needed to pursue a project I've been hoping to do for many years. I will return to buy a pack of hours in the near future. Highly recommend!
