About Betty

I am a friendly and patient English tutor with a strong background in Educational Studies and experience supporting student learning. I believe students do their best when they feel comfortable, encouraged, and understood, so I focus on creating a calm and welcoming learning environment. I come prepared, stay organized, and genuinely care about helping each student grow in confidence and reach their learning goals.

About the lesson

My teaching approach

My teaching approach is student-centered, supportive, and practical. I focus on helping students feel confident while building strong foundational skills at their own pace. Lessons are adapted to each student’s learning style to ensure concepts are clear and manageable.

Teaching methodology & lesson structure

I use interactive and structured methods, breaking concepts into simple steps and reinforcing learning through examples and guided practice. A typical lesson includes a short check-in, focused explanation, supported practice, and a brief recap with helpful tips or exercises.

What sets me apart

What sets me apart is my patience, adaptability, and background in Educational Studies. I focus on how students learn, not just what they learn, creating a calm and encouraging environment.

Who my lessons are for

My lessons are ideal for elementary, middle school, and high school students, as well as beginners who want to build confidence in English. Lessons are flexible and tailored to each student’s level and goals.
