About Beverley
I have a Bachelor's degree in Arts from McGill University. I specialized in Art History and East Asian studies. I then did another Bachelor's degree in Education from Ottawa University to get my teaching degree. I have 15+ years of experience teaching English as a second language to children, teens and adults, both in schools and as a private tutor. Hello there! If your goal is to better your English or French conversation or writing skills, I am your ideal tutor because I listen to YOUR needs and adapt my teaching to your needs and goals. As an ESL teacher with 15+ years of experience, I have taught English in multiple Quebec elementary and high schools, and I know what it takes to help your children or yourself learn to be proficient in both speaking, reading, watching and listening to videos, paraphrasing/synthesizing content and in writing. I have helped thousands of francophone students from the ages of 6 to 57 to improve their language skills and pass their exams (e.g. their sec. 5 Ministry oral and writing exams).
