About Emmy
I am a dedicated Guitar tutor with 9 years of teaching experience, having taught over 300 students. I work with high school and college learners, creating lessons that are engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. My teaching approach balances technical instruction with creative exploration, helping students develop both skill and confidence.
One of my proudest achievements has been mentoring students to perform successfully in college events and competitions, witnessing their growth and stage presence. I aim to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to explore music, express themselves, and cultivate a lifelong passion for Guitar.

My guitar teaching methodology is based on clarity, honesty, and steady learning. I use communication to explain guitar concepts such as chords, scales, strumming patterns, finger techniques, and rhythm in a simple and easy way. This helps students understand lessons clearly and practise with confidence.
I focus on accountability by helping students set realistic goals and follow regular practice routines. I guide students on how to practise properly and review progress regularly. Integrity is a core value in my teaching. I make sure students learn correct posture, hand placement, and musical fundamentals to build strong and reliable skills.
Each lesson is customised according to the student’s level, pace, and musical interests. I include technical exercises, rhythm training, and song practice to make lessons enjoyable and effective. I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, and basic songwriting to support overall musical growth.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and motivating. I help students gain confidence and enjoy their guitar learning journey.
