I like to encourage self confidence whilst building on skills. My style is to go through topics in a coherent order and use practice questions to cement concepts into memory. I like to revisit concepts regularly to ensure they are solid and therefore reduce the need for so much revision at the end of the course. I believe that testing is useful however only once a good baseline of confidence is set.
