About Theresa

Hi! My name's Theresa. I'm a warm, bubbly and reliable person who prides themselves on consistency, with excellent interpersonal skills. I'm good at making people feel comfortable and at ease, this comes from years of experience working with all different kinds of people, from all walks of life, some with vulnerabilities during my seven years of nursing and ten years as a midwife. Drawing from my experience I've found that I have the ability to make people feel relaxed when around me and unafraid to be themselves. My teaching style is simplistic, yet unique, I make the work easy to comprehend but do my best to have a sense of humour and make it a fun and a positive experience. As a Midwife I taught antenatal classes from as intimate as 4 people to as vast as 35. I've also mentored student midwives. I worked as a private tutor for 8 months with a young gentleman aged fifteen, he was predicted to fail and was on grade 'G' at the beginning of our time together, with hard work and commitment he went from having no understanding of Maths to being confident in his mathematical abilities and receiving a grade 'B' at GCSE. University : - Middlesex - BSE [Second Class Honours]
