About Julianne

Since birth, I have been introduced to two very different languages: Spanish and English. The reason is because I was born into a bicultural family. Speaking two languages from an early age has always been normal for me, and it has sparked a lifelong passion for languages. Thanks to this background, I have developed a deep appreciation for the way language connects people and opens doors to new cultures. I will soon be studying German and French at the University of Manchester, further expanding my linguistic skills and cultural knowledge. So, if anyone asks me why I want to start tutoring — the answer is simple: tutoring allows me to share my love for languages while helping others achieve their goals. As a native Spanish speaker, I can offer not only accurate language instruction, but also valuable cultural insights that make learning more engaging and authentic. My bilingual background, academic ambition, and enthusiasm for teaching ensure that I approach each lesson with professionalism, patience, and a genuine desire to see my students succeed.

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring I focus on making Spanish learning practical, fun, and culturally rich — especially with a Mexican touch. My lessons combine conversation practice, real-life situations, and cultural insights so you don’t just learn the language, you also understand how it’s used in everyday life. I use interactive activities, role-playing, music, and storytelling to keep classes engaging and memorable. Teaching Methodology I follow a “speak from day one” approach — you’ll start using Spanish immediately, building confidence through guided conversation. I tailor lessons to your goals, whether that’s travel, business, school, or personal enrichment. Grammar and vocabulary are always taught in context, not just as lists to memorise. Lesson Length Most lessons are 60 minutes, but I also offer 30-minute sessions for busy schedules or younger learners. Qualifications & Experience I’m a native Mexican Spanish speaker who is passionate about sharing my language and culture. While I’m new to tutoring, I bring a fresh, enthusiastic approach and focus on making learning enjoyable and relatable. My experience comes from years of helping friends, family, and colleagues learn Spanish naturally through conversation and cultural exchange.
