About Tiffany

I am a dedicated Video Production educator with over 14 years of experience as a professional videographer and media specialist. My background spans from teaching in the classroom to producing high-impact content for major television networks and brands. I currently teach Video Production as part of the CTE program in Clark County school district, where I empower students to develop real-world media skills and creative confidence. Prior to education, I built my career working on acclaimed reality television shows including Love & Hip Hop: LA, Black Ink Crew: LA, and House of Blueface, where I contributed as a videographer, producer, interviewer, and editor. These roles sharpened my expertise in fast-paced production environments and taught me how to shape stories that resonate with diverse audiences. In recognition of my commitment to both the media industry and the community, I was honored with a BET Award for Community Impact—a reflection of my passion for using media as a tool for representation, education, and change. My mission is to bridge classroom learning with real-world experience, preparing the next generation of storytellers for success in an ever-evolving media landscape.

About the lesson

This Video Production course aligns with Nevada’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) standards, preparing students for careers in film, media production, and digital marketing. The curriculum blends hands-on experience with industry theory, fostering career-ready skills like communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and time management.

Students begin with core production fundamentals, including media literacy, camera operation, composition, and lighting. Instruction progresses through the full production cycle:
• Pre-production (storyboarding, scripting, planning)
• Production (filming, sound, directing)
• Post-production (editing, motion graphics, sound design)

Sample Lesson Plans Include:
• Stop-Motion Animation Project – Teaches precision, planning, and creativity as students animate frame-by-frame sequences and edit them into original short films.
• Vlogging 101 – Covers building a personal brand, on-camera delivery, audience engagement, and basic editing for storytelling and consistency.
• Creating Short-Form Content (Reels/Shorts/TikToks) – Students learn how to hook an audience in under 60 seconds by scripting, shooting, and editing for vertical formats with fast pacing and visual storytelling.
• Social Media Account Management – Teaches platform-specific content creation, content calendars, branding, analytics interpretation, and strategies for community growth and engagement.

Tiffany is such an amazing tutor and teacher! She was so kind and patient to both of my children on the Autism Spectrum.
