Feredica is my Italian teacher and tutor. She has a full knowledge and practical experience of her subject which she is able to match to individual pupil needs. Moreover she has the rare quality of being able to transfer enthusiasm. I have no hesitation in recommending Federica.

I have had Italian lessons with Federica for a couple of years and I can highly recommend her. She is a great tutor and makes learning Italian interesting by focusing on Italian culture as well as the Italian language. She does not solely focus on learning from a book but encourages you to speak and write in Italian and politely corrects any mistakes you make. She has a great personality and makes you want to learn Italian by focusing on things you are interested in thereby making you learn quickly. She is very reliable and engaging. You will find that, if you engage her as a tutor, you will not only be reading, writing and speaking Italian in a short period of time but that you will very much enjoy your lessons with her.

Federica was our private Italian tutor for 2 and a half years. She is a kind , energetic, and friendly person. As a teacher she was flexible with tailoring the lessons to our needs and requests. She was also engaging in Italian social activities such as visiting the opera or cinema.

Fede has been teaching me for a year now, she is really patient with me which helps when you’re learning something completely new. Fede not only teaches the language but tells me a lot about Italian people and culture which is really interesting and good to know! It can be daunting learning a language but with Fede’s experience and personality you’ll be in good hands!

Federica has taught me Italian for about 3 years. I do it entirely for fun - not for my job, or because my spouse is Italian or for any other reason. If she wasn’t absolutely fab then I simply wouldn’t bother taking lessons with her. Her lessons are always pitched perfectly, progress from one to the next and she always remembers what we’ve covered before. Oh, and she has heaps of patience which is important if you’re trying to teach a chump like me. I fully recommend her to anyone.

Federica is very patient at explaining all the idiosyncrasies in Italian grammar (particularly the verb tenses). She also makes the lesson fun. Learning a new language requires perseverance as well as a fun teacher next to you for the long haul- hand holding (with the occasional bumps with each new rule)!

I’ve been having Italian language lessons with Fede for a year and half now and have seen my Italian improve considerably. Fede mixes amicability and professionalism quite brilliantly: her lessons are very enjoyable but, I have noticed, she will always have an end goal for each lesson for me in mind while allowing me to set the pace. Lessons vary from being all conversation around, say, an imminent trip to Italy (developing knowledge of the region I’m going to or vocabulary that might be relevant to me) to addressing particular grammatical weaknesses with the use of a very good textbook. Fede’s greatest quality, though, above her humour and her profound understanding of her native language, is her patience - with me, she needs it!

Federica has been a fantastic Italian tutor to both my sons! They both have a completely different learning style and she was able to adapt perfectly to each one. She tutored my eldest son to receive an A* In his GCSE Italian two years early! She is very trustworthy, professional and understanding and I am very happy to recommend her.
