About Claire

Hi there! My name is Claire, and I'm excited to share my passion for English language teaching with you.

As a lifelong learner and avid traveler, I've always been fascinated by languages and cultures. After earning my Bachelor's degree in Women and Gender studies at University of Toronto, I decided to pursue a career in ESL teaching to share my knowledge and help others achieve their language goals.

With over 5 years of experience teaching ESL to students from around the world, I've developed a teaching style that's both effective and enjoyable. I believe that language learning should be a fun and engaging process, so I use a variety of techniques and materials to keep the lessons interesting and interactive.

Whether you're looking to improve your English for academic or professional purposes, or simply want to feel more confident in your language skills, I'm here to help. I understand that learning a new language can be challenging, but I'm committed to providing a supportive and encouraging learning environment that inspires confidence and success.

I take my role as a tutor seriously and am dedicated to maintaining a professional and respectful relationship with my students. I'm punctual, reliable, and always prepared for our lessons. I also value feedback and communication, so please don't hesitate to let me know if there's anything I can do to improve your learning experience.

Thank you for considering me as your ESL tutor. I look forward to helping you achieve your language goals!

About the lesson

Looking for an experienced ESL tutor? Look no further! I specialize in teaching English as a second language and I'm dedicated to helping my students achieve their language goals.

My teaching methodology is based on communicative language teaching, which means that I focus on developing my students' ability to use English in real-life situations. I use a variety of techniques and materials to keep the lessons engaging and interactive, such as role-playing, games, and multimedia resources.

A typical lesson plan includes a warm-up activity, followed by a review of the previous lesson's material. Then, we move on to the new lesson's topic, which is introduced through a combination of listening, reading, and speaking activities. We finish off with a wrap-up activity to reinforce what we've learned. I also provide regular feedback and progress assessments to help you track your learning.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to adapt to each student's needs and learning style. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced learner, I'll tailor my lessons to help you achieve your language goals. My lessons are for anyone who wants to improve their English skills, whether you're a student, a professional, or just looking to communicate better in English.

So why wait? Contact me today to schedule your first lesson!
