About Lucy
I am Lucy, I am 28 years old and I come from the UK. I taught English in Spain for 4 years before moving to Montreal, where I now live and teach English. English teaching has been my profession for 5 years, so it's something I am confident in doing, something I love doing and something I know how to do well. I speak Spanish and French but during the classes, I will only speak to you in English to guarantee immersion! I can give you classes online or in person!

My methodology centres around speaking! Speaking is often the hardest skill to get comfortable with when you learn another language so my classes are 80% speaking-and with a focus on good pronunciation too. We will also spend time each class doing reading and writing activities.
My classes are not like traditional language lessons-once you've learnt a grammar point, you will be able to actually use it in the setting of a conversation, helping you to contextualise it and get more confident.
The lessons are for anyone and everyone-the only requirement is that you want to improve your English language skills.
The lessons can be tailored to you: it can be to pass an exam, to improve your level for work, to practice through conversation, purely grammar focused, for children, for business. I have experience with all of this.
