About Evie

Hello! I’m a certified Foreign Language Teacher Administrator and a native Korean speaker.

A little bit about my background — I was born and raised in Hongdae, Seoul, an area known for its vibrant arts and tourism scene, and I also lived in the cosmopolitan city of London. Growing up, I naturally engaged with people from diverse backgrounds and can communicate fluently in English.

My lessons are never boring; I adapt to each learner’s pace and style with patience and engaging activities. Having lived in London and now residing in Ireland, I bring a global perspective to my teaching, making your Korean learning experience both fun and comfortable.

About the lesson

I’ve completed professional training as a Foreign Language Education Manager and earned a recognized certification. I also have two years of experience teaching languages. This background allows me to design lessons that are both effective and enjoyable.

In our first lesson, we’ll getting to know each other, discussing your learning goals, and assessing your current Korean level. Then I will set a curriculum focused on helping you reach your goals efficiently.

Many students think Korean is difficult, but it can be both fun and simple if we use the right approach. In our lessons, we’ll use:

1. Mini Goals – We’ll set small, clear targets for each lesson, like learning three new words or making one complete sentence. Achieving these small wins will keep you motivated.

2. Interest-Based Learning – We’ll use content you already enjoy, such as K-dramas, K-pop lyrics, YouTube videos, or Korean cooking recipes, so you can learn language that’s relevant to you.

3. Become More Native – I’ll help you improve your pronunciation and natural expressions so you can listen and speak more like a native during online or messaging conversations.
