About Monique

I have worked 7 years in the corporate world and homeschooled a young learner English and Math. I have my TESOL level 5 certification.

I left the corporate world because I want to teach English full time and I love helping students reach their goal.

About the lesson

Methods I believe in:

TOTAL PHYSICAL RESPONSE (TPR)
Direct method which allows 100% English in my classroom.
I use props, realia, flashcards and all sorts of fun activities for young learners.

I believe in more student talk time rather than teacher talk time.
Students need to stay engaged, this is why I make my classes fun.

My goal is to have my young learners speaking fluently and accurately.
