About the lesson

I relate all my material to student experiences to enhance overall understanding! It's important to feel as though the information being taught can be useful in everyday life. Questions such as "Why am I learning this?" or "Is this even important?" will not exist with me. I cater mostly to younger kids as this requires the most amount of lesson planning and creativity, but I also have a really fun time teaching older ones as well since their level of understanding is more evident.

I am a current undergraduate student who works part time with kids during the week. I also worked a summer camp, and therefore working with kids is something I am used to. Fear not, I also have experience tutoring older students in subjects such as English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French.

Details

My base rate is 20$/ hour, however if students are requesting help for writing resumes or cover letters then the price will increase to 30$/hour. I have a cancellation policy and request that cancellations be done 24 hours in advance, if not a fee of 20$ will be charged. I also only charge 10$ travel fee if it takes me more than 15 mins to arrive to destination.
