Gap year language student gives German lessons to secondary pupils in Wiltshire/Somerset

Claudia was amazing when I was struggling with my German. She was recommended to me through a friend of a friend and I was not disappointed. She was amazingly easy to get on with which was actually very helpful in terms of how comfortable I felt around her and how quickly I learnt from her. My favourite thing about her tutoring style was how patient she was. Claudia is obviously very very advanced in her German and I was nervous that it may affect how suitable she was for teaching someone of my ability (I wasn't very good!). That fear soon subsided once we started our sessions and it stopped feeling like a lesson, although I learnt plenty, and began feeling like a friend giving me a helping hand. As I became more advanced in my German, Claudia was able to teach me to sound more like a native speaker and less like a beginner's textbook. As testament to Claudia and her tutoring abilities I went on to achieve a level 6 in IB German and I'm much more confident. Having the extra sessions alongside my school hours really helped and I am so thankful for Claudias time and patience.

Claudia tutored me on an informal basis at school. Her help with methods to memorise vocabulary and perfect my essay writing enabled me to achieve top grades at both GCSE and A Level. I would really recommend Claudia to anyone that's looking for some extra help as she not only takes the lessons seriously but is also dynamic and easy to get along with.
