Practice practice practice! The fastest way students learn and realise their weak spots is in doing plenty of questions, however, I understand for subjects like maths and the sciences it is hard to understand where you have gone wrong on your own so I think it is extremely beneficial to have somebody next to you to show you your errors and how to fix them. In addition, these new specifications for A-Level and GCSE require you to really understand the theory behind the topics not just the content to achieve the top grades so I approach any and every challenging topic slowly and in detail to make sure everything is fully understood.
