About Katie
I am a gap year student who has just finished A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. I have plenty of experience in all of these subjects which I am sure will benefit my students and they will feel as confident and comfortable with the subject matter as I do. I am going to the University of Nottingham in September 2021 to study Biology (Bsc) which I am thoroughly looking forward to.

I am a recent A level graduate in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and I am offering classes primarily in biology and chemistry to A-level and GCSE students although I am also willing to help any KS3 students. I am also happy to offer support regarding the university application process and UCAS such as helping with personal statements and proofreading. I received offers from all 5 universities to which I applied to read Biology.
I base my classes upon a student-focused approach whereby the content is structured to fill gaps in your knowledge and help push you to achieve the best grades you possibly can. I am flexible in my teaching and take hints from my students to adapt the classes to fit how they best learn. I have plenty of resources from my own studies that I am happy to share with my students and since I am a recent graduate myself all of my content is up to date with the exam specifications and my knowledge is fresh.
