About Gaurav

As an IIT student with a deep passion for teaching, I bring a unique blend of academic excellence and cultural understanding to my Hindi tutoring. Hindi is not just a subject for me—it’s my mother tongue, a language I grew up speaking, and a vital part of my identity. This deep connection to the language allows me to teach it with authenticity, passion, and a genuine desire to share its beauty with my students.

About the lesson

Teaching Techniques and Methods
My teaching methods are student-centered and interactive. I focus on making the learning process engaging and relatable by incorporating real-life examples, stories, and cultural references that resonate with students. I use a mix of visual aids, practical exercises, and digital tools to enhance understanding and retention. My approach is to build a strong foundation by emphasizing fundamental concepts and gradually progressing to more complex topics.

Usual Structure of a Class
Introduction (5-10 minutes): I start with a brief overview of the day's topic, linking it to previous lessons and setting clear objectives.
Core Lesson (20-30 minutes): I explain the key concepts, using examples and interactive methods like Q&A sessions or small activities to keep students engaged.
Practice (15-20 minutes): Students engage in exercises, practice reading, writing, or speaking, depending on the lesson's focus. I provide guidance and feedback during this time.
Review and Recap (5-10 minutes): We go over the main points of the lesson, address any questions, and discuss how the topic connects to the next lesson.
Homework/Assignments: I assign tasks that reinforce the day's lesson, encouraging independent practice.
