About Amy
I am currently working as a Senior Research Scientist in a lab in Oxford. My work involves trying to understand why people develop Alzheimer's Disease, and how we might be able to stop it! I have a master's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Cambridge and a first-class bachelor's degree from the University of Liverpool.
I am 23 years old and will be a relaxed and friendly tutor. I believe students learn much better if they feel comfortable enough to ask questions, or have a laugh in between past-paper questions!

I aim to make biology clear, engaging, and approachable by breaking complex topics into smaller, manageable concepts. My main goal is to allow the student to feel comfortable enough to ask any questions, as many times as they need.
Lessons can be completely tailored to the individual, but generally involve reviewing class material, working through difficult topics, practising exam-style questions, and identifying areas that need further improvement.
I offer tutoring for GCSE, A-Level and T-levels of all exam boards. I am new to tutoring but have experience talking in schools and a very strong biology background. Most importantly, I am very eager to help students gain confidence with science.
