I myself will soon be an A-level student (16 years old) and teach all GCSE students (from year 9 onwards) - mostly I specialise in Chemistry (OCR Gateway), Biology (OCR Gateway), Mathematics (Edexcel) and History (Edexcel - Russia 1917, Crime and Punishment, Superpower Relations and the Cold War) but I have taught several exam boards as the concepts are all similar. My teaching methodology is pretty straightforward yet logical - I help the student go through any difficult ideas and try to relate that to much simpler circumstances. I will go through each topic in detail - providing essential exam tips as a lot of the marks these days come from exam technique as well as both supplying and going through end of topic questions.
I am a student at a Berkshire Grammar School who has just completed his GCSEs and am predicted all 9s. I specialise in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and History which are the subjects I have chosen to pursue at A-Level. I have had approximately 3 years of tutoring experience at a martial arts school as well as teaching some younger students techniques to help pass their 11+. I have volunteered at several different clubs in school and have completed several different work experience programs for both economics and medicine, sponsored by the NHS and St James’ Wealth Management Trust. Additionally, I am a Grade 5 violinist and have learnt several essential teaching skills by completing both the Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award.
