About Emily
A current Geography teacher of 6 years based in Somerset. I have taught across multiple exam boards including AQA, OCR and Edexcel for GCSE and A-level. I pride myself on making content engaging but also linking to exam boards/specification requirements. I am an enthusiastic practitioner and when planning lessons, will always ensure I fit the needs of the learner. My main aim is to help students enjoy Geography and achieve their ambitions. One of the key strengths is building relationships with students to make this happen.

My lessons are bespoke to each individual student's needs. Being a current teacher, I have access to updated resources and I am constantly updating my pedagogy. Each lesson will follow a similar plan of starting with short knowledge recall, input on specific content (tailored to focus on whatever the student would like) and then a task where the learning would be applied. I am a super flexible and adaptable teacher so will happily change plans to fit the student's focus.
