About Abisia
I graduated from the university of Windsor and studied for 2 years at Universität Heidelberg in Germany. I was studying German, French, and English-Polish-German translation. I worked as a TA for the German program and held study sessions before midterms for my peers. I am absolutely obsessed with studying this language and helping others understand the complexity of it. I find joy in drilling this language into your brain. Currently I have my own online language school and teach Polish online, and tutor students in the German program in-person.

My goal is to make lessons memorable. I teach grammar in context , provide examples until it’s difficult for you to not understand, and make you practice until you can’t get it wrong. Incorporating humour into the lessons will help you recall and not recognize/memorize everything. I always start off with learning the necessary vocabulary, we then use that vocabulary to learn a grammar concept, we put that grammar concept into writing, which then transitions into listening to examples of how the vocabulary and grammar is used and then we speak! Speaking will take up most of the lesson.
