About Stefanie

I am a native German speaker and experienced language tutor offering German lessons for students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners.

I have extensive experience teaching languages across different age groups and cultural settings. I previously taught English in Playa del Carmen to children and teenagers (ages 3–19), and I also tutored Mexican adults in English. In the United States, I have taught Spanish to children, and German to students at a highly accredited German school in Newport Beach. In addition, I have worked with private students in both online and in-person German tutoring. In addition, I hold a CBEST certificate (California Basic Educational Skills Test), which reflects my familiarity with U.S. educational standards.

My teaching approach is clear, structured, and highly personalized, while also keeping lessons engaging, practical, and enjoyable. I specialize in helping students untangle German grammar in a simple and understandable way, making complex topics such as cases, tenses, and sentence structure easier to apply in real communication.

Depending on your goals, lessons can focus on:

Stefanie is an amazing astrologist. She did a reading for my son who at the time of the reading was home sick for several months. In his chart he saw that he is a talented athlete and that he would have an opportunity to play soccer internationally. A few weeks later this opportunity came out of left field and indeed it turned into an offer for him to play soccer in Spain.
Stefanie described him to the T and was able to interpret his challenges as well.
This reading has been increasingly helpful as both my son and I (as his parent) got a good picture of what he needs to do to stay on top of his talent and stay away from those things that aren’t for his highest good.
