About Erika

My name is Erika Paola Diaz, I was born in Queretaro City, Mexico.
While I was in college I decided to immerse myself in the world of language and I love it!
After finishing my Bachelor's degree in Education, I got the opportunity to live in Florida where I improve my English and decided to become a public teacher for Orange County.
However, I feel like education should go further than that so after I learn about this amazing program where you could teach outside of a classroom I decided to go ahead and give it a chance.

I have been teaching and learning on the way since 2016 and I am so excited about what the future holds for me :)

About the lesson

My methodology changes according to the student's age, level, and specificities.
As an example with little kids I love to be excited, energetic, and as funny as I can, I truly believe that kids laughing and having a great time is the most important of an education base on language acquisition, you can't learn if you don't have fun with what you do.\

However, for the adults I love to teach in a more friendly way where we can feel like two people drinking a coffee while we learn, I try to always introduce them to a new language in a more casual and free way so they can be prepared to everyday task in the real life after we accomplish the first steps of language acquisition, I love to push them to a more deep and complex communication skill where we will have a deep conversation when we push the English to the limit! :D
