About Alexis
Straining your voice during a high note is a common issue that we can fix quickly. You might be surprised at how much breathing control changes your entire range. I use the methods I developed over 13 years of gigging to make sight singing feel natural.
We work on your diction so that your lyrics land exactly where you want them to. Since I am a native Québécois speaker, I have a sharp ear for the nuances of your vowel placement. My 5 years of experience help me catch bad habits before they take hold.

Spending 13 years in the Montreal folk scene means I have spent my life singing in all kinds of venues. It is fair to say that my voice has been my primary tool for a long time. I have helped 446 students, ranging from grade exam candidates to advanced singers, find their own resonance. Because I am self-taught, I rely on a deep understanding of diction and articulation to guide others.
My 5 years of teaching experience allow me to break down complex anatomy into simple concepts. Every new student starts with a diagnostic vocal assessment to see where we need to build. I want to see you hit your stride on stage with total confidence.
