I’m a high school teacher who is taking some time off to stay home with my daughter.
I love music (I play violin, guitar, and electronic instruments) and computer programming. I’m really passionate about using technology to support learning and finding new approaches to supporting students.

I have been a teacher in high schools since 2008, and have taught pretty much every English class in the Ontario curriculum.
I have certifications in Special Education as well as working with students on the spectrum, and am well-versed in helping students over a wide range of hurdles.
I wrote and operate the website OntarioLiteracy.ca, which helps over 25,000 students prepare for the OSSLT every year. I’ve programmed a set of custom diagnostic tests that can help students find the most efficient ways to improve their scores.
