Here 3 major fundamentals unit being used are:length (L),Mass (M) and (T).
We can use units or formula to derives any given dimensions.
Example:
Dimension for velocity
1. Using formula: v=d/t from the 3 fundamentals unit, distance is related to Length (L) while time is equal to Time (T)
So we can rewrite the formula as
V= L/T =LT-1
2. Using unit straight , i.e the unit for velocity is ms-1
Soequate to L.T.M
We have v= L/T-1
