About JEMIMA
I am a final year Political Transformation and Governance student, with experience in tutoring Politcial science subjects and German. I also speak Afrikaans and am willing to tutor bilingually. I recently got my TEFL certification to be able to teach English English online and have done Volunteer work at the United Nations World Food Programme.

My name is Jemima and I tutor High school and University Students. I regard myself as enthusiastic and take on all my lessons with enthusiasm, so as to not bore students. Before teaching a lesson, it is important to first understand which areas a student needs the most help with. Thus,I like to first have a discussion to get to know the student a little better. The aim of my lessons is to ensure students leave with confidence and that they are comfortable enough to speak to me during the lesson. My teaching methodology included a mixture between a student-centered orientation and teacher-centered. I don't think a one-sided passive lesson is very effective, therefore I like to involve the student as much as possible.
