About Kat
I am a very dedicated Biomedical student in my third year at the University of Guelph, achieving a 3.9 cumulative GPA. I have written my MCAT (Medical College Admissions Test), and am currently working as a research assistant in the general surgery department at Western.
I have always had a knack for explaining concepts and teaching my peers, which inspired me to start tutoring at the end of my high school career. Teaching is a passion of mine, and I hope I can share that passion with you!

Everybody learns in their own unique way, and my plan is to crack the code on what works best for my students through listening and observation.
I believe that to succeed, we need to thoroughly comprehend the subject matter, as opposed to memorizing facts or going through the motions.
My strategy is to work from the basics up to identify where the weakness or confusion stems from, in order to build a strong foundation of understanding.
I am a very outgoing and positive-minded teacher, who firmly believes that anyone is capable of whatever they set their mind to.
I have experience teaching students from grade 3 to 2nd-year university, my lessons are for nearly everyone!
