About Matthew
I am a patient and dedicated tutor who tailors every lesson to the student’s unique learning style. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching approach to meet their individual needs. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions and exploring new ideas. As a student myself, I try to be as down-to-earth and relatable as possible to provide a more comfortable learning environment.

I enjoy adapting the method of having a student periodically re-explain the content they have learned to demonstrate understanding and the ability to retain after exposure to information. At the start of each lesson, we set an objective, such as completing an assignment or mastering the a chapter's content.
We'd begin with understanding what the student knows and begin to 'fill in the gaps of their knowledge by guiding them through the lecture. At the end of class, we would sum up and revise everything that was learnt and discuss out-of-session methods to study or further explore the topic.
As a tutor, I believe it should be my job not only to teach but also to understand how my student learns best and adapt accordingly. I truly find satisfaction in the success of my students, even if it's a minor improvement.
My classes are directed to students from 1st grade to 12th grade.
