About Reetz
I ran Private Tutoring Services here in Thunder Bay for 25 years. I worked with all ages but eventually worked exclusively with grade 9/10 Math students as that was the greatest area of need. I struggled with Math in Highschool myself and it was only after I got to the faculty of Education that I not only could I "get it" but I actually really enjoyed Math.

This depends on the student I'm working with. I sometimes have to use more than one strategy with a student. I keep at it until the light goes on. Everyone learns a little differently but the student must have a basic comfort level. Learning is awfully tough when you're afraid of who is teaching you
