I love to teach using interactive and engaging lessons with visual aids, real-world examples, and hands-on activities. I provide positive reinforcement to build confidence and motivation. Lessons start with a quick review using a fun activity, then I quickly introduce new concepts before we get into repetitive practice with relatable examples. I am set apart from other tutors since I am still a student myself, with the current feeling of stress/academic pressure—I can relate to my students, which provides a comfortable environment. I am a trained babysitter, making me very good with kids outside of a learning environment. I provide lessons for children ages 7-11 in elementary school. I can support students in both English and French, as well as general study skills and homework in various topics. I am very supportive of children who have a harder time sitting still or focusing for long periods of time by providing interactive and hands-on activities.
