About Sean
I took Royal Conservatory piano, theory, and music history exams for my entire youth and am very grateful for the skills I gained in reading music at a high level, intuition in performing and playing music, and knowledge of the theory behind it all.
My mom was a professional piano teacher to beginner and intermediate students for over 20 years and passed on many of her teaching skills and techniques to me.
Most important to me is ensuring my students have fun both in their lessons and during practice time, find joy in the types of music they want to play, and feel safe and comfortable to express themselves during the learning process.

I teach beginner piano lessons to students of any age who want to learn the basics of reading music, rhythm, ear training, notes, and chords.
My approach strikes a balance between challenging students to practice and advance their skills, but also enjoy the process and experiment with what sounds and feels good to them!
