About Athena
I'm currently a Grade 12 student in my last semester. I have experienced all the curriculum recently and have good grades to show for it! I had to work for and the methods I have learnd over the years have greatly improved my grades and understanding of math. School doesn't come easy to a lot of people and I have first hand experience with that, but I believe I can make a lot easier for you!

I am a very step oriented person and I reflect that in my teaching. I believe breaking down and working through step a person doesn't understand can greatly increase their ability to solve math problems. I also believe that not everyone will understand the first time something is explained to them, going through definitions/thermology can improve a students understanding greatly. I am able to teach up to a grade 8 level. A typical lesson plan would look like going over material, finding anything they are having troubles with, work through the troubles, practice questions and review!
