About Ani
My name is Ani-Kate, I am 17 years old and I currently take RS at A-Level after achieving a 9 at GCSE. I aim to treat the lessons more as a friend trying to revise with you, rather than a teacher throwing content at you.
I am an extremely passionate and enthusiastic former GCSE RS student. I worked so hard for my grade, and believe that I can use the teaching style of my former RS teacher as well as what I know I found the most fun and engaging teaching style throughout my GCSEs to my advantage to provide the best lessons for you.
I believe that anyone can achieve a high grade in RS if they just learn to master the techniques of the exam board, and sometimes all it takes is a little encouragement and an engaging lesson that works best for you to be able to learn the content effectively.

My lessons are for GCSE Religious Studies studies from years 9-11, who are learning Buddhism and Christianity within their religion paper. Lessons will run from 30 minutes to an hour each.
I will guide you through your learning by encouraging debate-focussed teaching, and expanding your perspective by asking questions and remember, there are no wrong answers! My focus on debates in my lessons will not only help you learn by associating content with their counter-arguments as an easy-to-remember technique, but will also help you tackle the technique of those tricky twelve-markers in a fun and engaging way without putting pen to paper! I will not just reread the textbook to you and ask you to take notes, I will be asking questions, I will lead debates and encourage switching perspectives so that in the exam you are writing your own opinions and ideas rather than writing from a textbook. This is so much easier.
I will also help you find the right revision method for you, and share my own revision materials that helped me achieve a grade 9 in my own exam.
