About Kristy
I have worked with many other students in high school; classmates, younger students, I often assisted teachers and in my spare, I would also help classes who had students who might've needed extra help or needed a different style of learning. I was on the Honor role 4 times and had the highest grades in these classes by maintaining an above 95% average (Grade 12U law and Grades 9-12 trig U, geometry U and algebra U). I have lots of coaching experience; I have over 1000 hours of coaching done (mainly working with athletes) weather it was with their athletics or academics. I can reach students anywhere in Canada (via facetime) to assist in their learning.

I use different methods depending on my students. For example; with a hockey athlete I use hockey terminology to help them better understand; for volleyball players, I use volleyball terms, etc. This continues throughout their learning so they can fully understand what I am talking to them about. For non-athlets, I do my best to find subjects that they can relate to or the best teaching method for them; ie, visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic. I am able to use the resources around myself and the student to ensure they fully understand and are confident with the content given.

If they require an emergency lesson (less than 24 hrs notice) my rate becomes $20/hr
If you have to travel to me my rate drops to $8/hr
