About Tyler
I am a creative, social, and energetic student. I love creative writing and poetry, as I find it to be a nice release from pent up emotions. I love teaching people and spend a lot of my time helping my friends study for their evaluations. I would be very excited and glad to help you or your child learn and improve! I am patient and caring, and will listen to their worries in order to find a way to learn together.

I am excellent in English, and have been getting straight A’s for many years. It is my strongest subject and my passion, and I want to share it with others.
I will typically start a meeting by asking the person (or parent) what they need, and performing a quick evaluation of the person’s abilities. Using this knowledge, I will be able to personalize a routine to help them improve.
Furthermore, I will make lessons fun by introducing reward systems and interactive games. For example, for every 10 words without a spelling mistake, they would get a point. After ten points, they can choose a prize. Another example would be giving them a prompt to write about based on their interests.
My goal is to help the person improve while targeting what they like, to ensure peak performance.
Additionally, I have a lot of experience regarding learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism. This means that it won’t be a problem for me at all. Having ADHD myself, I’ve developed many strategies and tactics in order to improve as much as I can, while not burning myself out. I am confident that I can help the person I’m tutoring achieve the same results, leaving them able to study on their own, eventually.
I would be best tutoring someone 14 years old or younger, as I will have mastered whatever the topic is. I also have a red cross babysitting certificate, so I am trained to be around children in a constructive way.
