About Teni

Hi everyone!

My name is Teni, and I’m a McMaster University nursing student offering tutoring services for students in the Hamilton/Burlington area! 🩷

I’ve always enjoyed working with kids and helping students feel more confident in school. I have experience working with children through coaching, summer camps, and tutoring, and I really enjoy creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace.

About the lesson

I know that every student learns differently, so I try to make my sessions personalized, encouraging, and engaging rather than simply going through worksheets or giving students the answers. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades, but also become more independent and confident learners!

I’m currently offering support with:
Math
English & writing
Science
Homework help
Test & exam preparation
Study skills & organization

In-person (Hamilton/Burlington) or online
Evening & weekend availability
Affordable rates

If you’re looking for a friendly, reliable tutor for your child, I’d love to connect! Feel free to send me a message with your child’s grade and the subjects they need help with, and I’d be happy to chat!

Thank you, and please feel free to share this post with anyone who may be.
