About Jui
Hi, I’m Jui, an architecture graduate and working professional, and I’m excited to share what I’ve learned over the years through my journey with Warli art! Art is a powerful form of self-expression that helps us connect with both ourselves and the world around us. I believe that art is for everyone, and there’s no right or wrong way to express yourself. My teaching style focuses on creating a relaxed, welcoming space where you can freely explore your creativity without any judgment. I’m eager to share the history and stories behind Warli art that inspired me, and to guide you on your own creative journey. No matter your age or experience, I’m thrilled to help you unlock your artistic potential and build confidence in your abilities. Believe me, art helps us in ways we have never imagined. Warli art is an ancient Indian tradition practiced by tribes in western India to depict their daily life and rituals in a simple yet meaningful way. You’ll be amazed at how, with just two colors and a canvas, we can create artwork that is both simple yet powerful. In this 90-minute lesson, students will learn about the history and significance of Warli art and will have the opportunity to create their own basic Warli painting using geometric shapes. Let’s relax in this casual, fun environment, taking your time and finishing your painting at your own pace. Come explore how ancient civilizations used art to express their lives! All ages are welcome.
