About Alex
I am a recently graduated chemical engineer looking to do a few hours of tutoring a week. I have some previous experience tutoring young people in larger groups and due to my proficiency in maths and science think I would make a good individual tutor.
I generally take the calm approach and push students where this feels appropriate. I would be able to give considerable help with maths A-level, further maths A-level and GCSE and would feel comfortable helping with all science GCSEs.
I am 22 and so am young enough to relate to students but have the education and experience to keep them engaged and interested in the subjects.
My aim is to make tutoring both as valuable and enjoyablw as possible as this helps to engage students to use this as an educational tool to help aid a students learning.
