About Raghu Avanish
My name is Raghu Avanish Moparthi, I have last year completed my Graduate
diploma in Contemporary Music (Level 7) from Southern Institute of Technology,
Invercargill. Instrument I specialized in the course is Guitar. Currently, I am on an open post study work visa till the end of 2022.
Prior to the course I have achieved Trinity College London Grade 4 in plectrum guitar. As part of the course at Southern Institute of Technology one of my papers was Music Education and as per this paper's requirement, I have taught guitar lessons to an individual and music theory lessons to a group, each of them for 10 Weeks module.
Have 1 year of guitar teaching experience back in my home country (India) and have recently started working with Turn Up The Music School in Queenstown as a Guitar/Ukulele teacher.

I teach individual lessons and 1 lesson per week for half an hour. Each lesson has a respective aim and outcome which are linked with the overall term lessons aim and learning outcomes and 1 term is for a length of 10 weeks.
I teach all ages and have more experience in teaching beginner and intermediate students, so will have no worries in teaching absolute beginners.
