About Anya-Mae
I am currently studying at SMB College, working in my second year of the level 3 extended diploma in performing and production arts (musical theatre). My goal to successfully achieve this qualification is to put my absolute all into all of my work and performances, stay dedicated and really focus on trying my best no matter what obstacles are thrown in my way. My intention is to attend University and study a degree in musical theatre/ dance. Two universities I am currently really interested in are the University of Lincoln and the HE course here at Melton. Both of these courses draw my attention especially as I feel that they are very suitable for my strengths and would allow me to completely flourish into an excellent performer. My ultimate career aim is to become a teacher in secondary school and teach GCSE drama or to be a holiday entertainer abroad. After recently going on holiday, I discovered a burning desire to travel and spread my love of performing through entertainment- especially after meeting all of the lovely entertainers on holiday!

I’ve been studying performing arts and drama since I was 9 years old. I’ve have also been dancing since all my life. Some of my qualifications that relate to this industry are: GCSE Drama (6/B) , a distinction in my grade 6 LAMDA acting exam, RAD Ballet graded qualifications from grades 2 to 4, ISTD Modern Theatre qualifications from grades 3 to intermediate and a merit in my first year of the level 3 extended diploma in performing and production arts (acting). I am now currently in my second year, specialising in musical theatre.
