About Adrian
I recently graduated from Brandeis University with degrees in Physics and Neuroscience. Before Brandeis, I lived and went to school in Bethesda, MD, and graduated from Walt Whitman High School which means I am familiar with MCPS curriculum and the struggles that come with it. Throughout college, I tutored students in Calculus and Introductory Physics and was able to make these topics more accessible even to those studying non-scientific subjects. Outside of academics, I am an athlete, sports fan, and enjoy spending time outside in any way that I can.

My approach involves finding where students are both struggling and succeeding to connect their successful approaches to topics that they tend to struggle more on. I do not just want to make students understand the topics they are struggling with but also want to set them up with tools to help them learn in the future.
Starting with topics and questions that a student might have from pre-existing classes or online summer tests, I try to take the resources they have to try to help them not only understand topics they are struggling with but set them up with tools that will allow them to succeed in the future with the resources they are given. I like to take pre-existing material the student may be struggling with to be able to teach them both material and learning skills. However, I also have worksheets that can be personalized to meet specific needs and encourage success on hard topics.
