I credit my success in high school to the great level of organisation I had during the year and also the study techniques I applied during my time in high school. I plan to teach my students these techniques and organise their study plans by setting short term goals to achieve that long term goal.
I am well versed in the sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and also in Mathematics (Math Methods and Math specialist). I plan to comprehensively explain these subjects to my students so they have a strong grasp of these concepts.
I typically advise my students to take 2 hrs of lessons with me per week. This gives my students ample time to digest the content and also time to do practice questions (which is key for the student's success in a subject)
I plan to help my students are by providing:
- guidance for their assignments
- a large bank of questions for their exam preparation
- notes that they can keep after our sessions
- a range of study techniques
-a plan for the term and year
