I am an artist of many flavors (acting, dancing, painting, puppet making, you name it) and truly believe art is for everyone. I like to get messy (literally and figuratively) and find every way possible to create and tell stories. I know what I’m doing AND I’m a silly goose :)

Hi hello! I am a Columbia University MFA Acting graduate, and have been acting for 15 years. There I trained with Ron Van Lieu, Peter Jay Fernandez, James Calleri, Liz Hayes, and Sita Mani. And prior to that I studied at CSU Long Beach with Hugh O’Gorman. I primarily approach the work through a combination of Michael Chekhov technique, Feldenkrais, and Viewpoints, and strive to help others get to the truth of every scene. I am available for one on one coaching, especially for MFA auditions in the fall. Please reach out if you have any questions :)

I cannot recommend Ayla enough! She is kind talented and works with you no matter what level you are at! She is deeply knowledgeable not only in technique but in how to coach you on expressing and in finding your own artistry!
Ayla teaches in a way that feels like two friends sharing secrets. You tell her what makes your heart beat, and she tells you how to bring it to life. She believes in you whether you like it or not. Crying is optional but she'll join if you want.
